NBA Finals Predictions

After a long NBA season, we have finally reached the Finals. This season has been entertaining, and this matchup in the Finals definitely will not disappoint. Both teams, especially the Mavericks, are coming into this series with much momentum. Their journey to the Finals has been nothing short of extraordinary. Having to play the #4 Clippers, then #1 Thunder, and clinching the West against the #3 Timberwolves. Nobody picked the Mavericks to be here. We even picked them to lose against the Clippers, but give us some credit, as this was before Kawhi Leonard was injured. Unlike the Mavericks, the Celtics were picked to make it this far, which they did. Losing two games throughout the first three rounds of the playoffs, the Celtics have dominated each team they have played and don’t look to slow down against the Mavericks.  Celtics Vs Mavericks | Celtics in 6 The Celtics swept the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals. For most fans, this matchup felt free for the Celtics. However, the games were closer than expected. Jaylen Brown won Eastern Conference Finals MVP; he stepped up big for the Celtics in the series. The Celtics' lineup is so good that any of their five starters can take over at any given time. Kristaps Porzingis is expected to return to the lineup after being out since the first round of the Playoffs. This will help the Celtics rebound since the Mavericks have excelled in that department. As we predicted, the Thunder struggled to rebound against the Mavericks. Gafford and Lively have formed an outstanding Center duo. Dallas’ roleplayers have stepped up big. PJ Washington has looked like a steal for Dallas. They acquired him at the deadline. Derrick Jones Jr was signed to a minimum contract, which was incredible for Dallas’s scouting, as he excelled. The most crucial part is that Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving have worked out, which was a popular question after Dallas missed the Playoffs in 2023. Luka Doncic is arguably the best player in the world right now. Dallas has been on a phenomenal run late in the season. Unfortunately for Dallas, their miracle run could very likely be coming to an end. Boston arguably has the best firepower in the NBA. Drafting Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown while adding Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, and Kristaps Porzingis shows Boston’s front office is incredible. They deserve a lot of the credit. With all this being said, the Celtics will take home the Larry O’Brien Trophy in six games.
